This work places the female face within a field of forms, lines, textures, and fragmentations where figuration and abstraction coexist without establishing a definitive boundary. The face emerges from the visual fabric and, at the same time, decomposes within it, transforming the recognizable into part of an abstract structure.
The chromatic intensity, the draftsmanship, and the density of the surface construct a visual language of their own, in which the gaze moves between recognition and unknowability. The face does not constitute the destination of the painting, but rather an emergent peculiarity within the ahorasencia of the composition.

About the Artist
Ahoriel Leiroha (San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba, 1978) is a self-taught poet and painter, and the creator of Ahoraísmo. He began writing in 1996 and painting in 2012. In 2009 he began writing the Ahoraist Manifesto. He has participated in various national and international poetry anthologies and is the author of La áspera frontera de las doce, published by Editorial Unicornio in 2011. In 2018 he presented Viaje de Prodigios, the first Ahoraist Art exhibition, at the Galería Mariano Rodríguez, Habana del Este. In 2023 he received recognition at the XXXI Provincial Fine Arts Salon Eduardo Abela in San Antonio de los Baños. His poetic, pictorial, and essayistic work is born from a spiritual awakening and the development of the Ahoraist Manifesto.

La obra sitúa el rostro femenino en un campo de formas, líneas, texturas y fragmentaciones donde figuración y abstracción coexisten sin establecer una frontera definitiva. El rostro emerge del entramado visual y, al mismo tiempo, se descompone en él, convirtiendo lo reconocible en parte de una estructura abstracta.
La intensidad cromática, el trazado y la densidad de la superficie construyen un lenguaje visual propio, en el que la mirada transita entre reconocimiento e incognoscibilidad. El rostro no constituye el destino de la pintura, sino una peculiaridad emergente dentro de la ahorasencia de la composición.

Acerca del Artista
Ahoriel Leiroha (San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba, 1978) es poeta y pintor de formación autodidacta, y creador del Ahoraísmo. Comenzó a escribir en 1996 y a pintar en 2012. En 2009 inició la escritura del Manifiesto Ahoraísta. Ha participado en diversas antologías nacionales e internacionales de poesía y es autor del libro La áspera frontera de las doce, publicado por Editorial Unicornio en 2011. En 2018 presentó Viaje de Prodigios, primera exposición de Arte Ahoraísta, en la Galería Mariano Rodríguez, Habana del Este. En 2023 obtuvo un reconocimiento en el XXXI Salón Provincial de Artes Plásticas Eduardo Abela, en San Antonio de los Baños. Su obra poética, pictórica y ensayística nace de un despertar espiritual y del desarrollo del Manifiesto Ahoraísta.
